3. Head of Data

   2019 — 2021

   • aircall • Building an internal event data platform and data lake from scratch. I led a team of 4 engineers, that went from scratch to ingesting ~1k events per second (with spikes a few order of magnitudes higher) while keeping the platform highly available and secure. • Data governance, security, and cross team collaboration: platform engineering, docu- mentation, schema evolution • Architecture and implementation of a real-time, event-driven distributed data plat- form (AWS, Terraform, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Go…) • Infrastructure and DevOps (terraform, CI/CI, monitoring, alerting, logging, IAM poli- cies…) • Anti-fraud real-time detection systems • GDPR and data privacy compliance • Provided high availability data-lake to the data analytics team (athena, redshift)
